Consortium

The RAISEARTH consortium brings together 21 beneficiaries from 13 European countries, including two pan-European infrastructures. Collectively, they represent the full chain of Sun–Earth interactions, spanning solar, magnetospheric, plasmaspheric, and ionospheric domains.

The conosrtium unites:

  • Space and geospace scientists with expertise in solar monitoring, ionospheric irregularities, magnetospheric dynamics, and radiation belt physics.
  • Data science and AI/ML specialists ensuring the development of event detection, data curation, forecasting, and explainability methods.
  • Infrastructure providers securing access to world-class instruments and archives.
  • Innovation actors embedding responsible AI, gender balance, open science practices, and pathways to industry exploitation.

The consortium ensures access to the critical infrastructures required to carry out RAISEARTH activities and covers the entire value chain, from data generation to service exploitation.

Brief descriptions of the partners’ expertise and infrastructures are provided below.
